DEEP Robotics: industrial quadruped and wheeled-legged robots
DEEP Robotics is a China-based company headquartered in Hangzhou that develops legged robots. The line splits three ways. First, industrial quadrupeds: the IP67-rated X30 and the modular X20, positioned for inspection across power, tunnel, mining and construction sites. Second, the wheeled-legged LYNX family, which rolls on flat ground and switches to legs at obstacles; the industrial member M20 carries two 96-line LiDARs. Third, the humanoid line: the DR01 research platform and the IP66-rated industrial DR02. The company also builds its own joints, with the J60 lightweight and J100 high-torque joints used in the DR01.

The X30 suits harsh field conditions with its higher IP67 rating and 45-degree stair capability. The X20 suits inspection work with add-on equipment, thanks to IP66 protection, a 20 kg payload and a rich set of modular interfaces. Range is longer on the X20: 15 km and 2 to 4 hours.
It uses wheeled speed on flat ground and legged capability at obstacles. The LYNX M20 passes 50 cm clearances, climbs 25 cm stairs continuously and clears an 80 cm single step. In facilities that combine long flat corridors with rough ground on the same round, wheeled-legged beats pure quadruped on efficiency.
