Unitree Go2-W is a wheeled-legged hybrid quadruped robot. On flat surfaces, it reaches 2.5 m/s with 7-inch pneumatic tires, while it can overcome obstacles up to 70 cm using its legs. The 18 kg platform offers 1.5-3 hours runtime with 15,000 mAh battery. Ideal for warehouse logistics, industrial facility inspection and mixed terrain patrol. What Separates Go2-W from Go2?

Go2-W is the Go2 platform carrying wheeled feet. A 70 × 43 × 50 cm body weighs about 18 kg with the battery. The payoff of the wheeled architecture again shows up in range and endurance: 1.5–3 hours of operation from a 15,000 mAh long-range battery. Speed range is 0–2.5 m/s, maximum climbing incline 35°, and maximum obstacle height 70 cm. It uses 16 aluminium knee joint motors; peak torque of the largest motor is about 45 N·m.

Payload and Its Limits

Payload is about 8 kg with a peak of ~12 kg. Against an 18 kg body weight this is a payload-to-weight ratio of roughly 0.44. In practice it is enough to carry a single sensor load — a thermal camera, gas detector or small compute module; stacking multiple pieces of equipment is not this class's job. The 45 N·m joint torque is sized to the same scale: the near eightfold gap to the B2's 360 N·m shows directly that the two robots do not do the same work.

Its limits are explicit — 8 kg payload, 35° incline and a 1.5–3 hour operating window. If long-distance outdoor inspection is needed the answer is AS2-W; if heavy equipment must be carried, the B2.
