Standing 182 cm tall and weighing about 70 kg, the body carries 31 joint degrees of freedom; together with dual SharpaWave tactile five-finger dexterous hands at 22 active DoF each, it reaches 75 total DoF. Onboard compute comes from an NVIDIA Jetson T5000 (Thor) module: 2,070 TFLOPS at FP4, a 2,560-core Blackwell GPU and 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. Shipping with the Isaac GR00T workflow spanning data capture to model evaluation, the platform is built for university and R&D teams.

What Separates H2 Plus from H2?

The body is identical: 1820 × 456 × 218 mm, ~70 kg, 31 degrees of freedom (6 leg, 7 arm, 3 waist, 2 head), 360 N·m leg and 120 N·m arm peak torque, ~3 hours from a 15 Ah / 0.972 kWh battery. The difference sits entirely in the compute and sensing layer. H2 Plus ships with an NVIDIA Jetson T5000: a 2560-core Blackwell-architecture GPU with 5th-generation Tensor Cores, a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU and 128 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X memory. The manufacturer's stated peak is 2070 TFLOPS at FP4 precision.

What 128 GB of Memory Means

In a humanoid the bottleneck is usually not raw compute but keeping the model resident on the device. 128 GB of LPDDR5X over a 256-bit bus is enough to hold a vision-language-action (VLA) class large model without forcing lossy quantization, and to run it alongside the perception pipeline. On-device inference without a cloud dependency is an architectural choice for projects that need in-facility latency and data privacy, a cloud round trip cannot serve a 100 ms control loop.

Sensing Hardware

  • Head camera: horizontal field of view 140° ±3, vertical 102° ±3.
  • Wrist cameras (optional): 3 MP ultra-wide, the scene as the hand sees it at the moment of grasp.
  • Array microphones and high-power speakers.
  • Optional SharpaWave dexterous hands: 22 active degrees of freedom per hand, 1000 tactile pixels per fingertip.

Engineering Assessment

H2 Plus is the version that bolts a research-class compute stack onto the same mechanical body. The distinction matters if you will run a large model on-device, pursue manipulation research with tactile feedback, or need cloud-independent inference. Mission time and torque budget, however, are identical to H2: the Jetson T5000 does not extend battery life; it tightens the thermal and energy budget. H2 Plus is therefore not a robot that runs longer, but one that runs a heavier model in the same window.

H2 Plus Frequently Asked Questions

The most commonly asked questions and answers about H2 Plus.

What exactly is the Unitree H2 Plus?

Announced by Unitree on 1 June 2026, the H2 Plus is the first humanoid robot reference design built on the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T development platform. It combines the Unitree H2 chassis, dual Sharpa Wave tactile five-finger hands made by Sharpa, an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 compute module and the Isaac GR00T software stack into a single validated package.

What is the difference between the H2 Plus and the standard H2?

The body is the same H2 chassis: 182 cm, ~70 kg, 31 joint degrees of freedom. Three things differ: dual Sharpa Wave tactile hands (22 DoF per hand, bringing the total to 75 DoF), NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 onboard compute (2,070 FP4 TFLOPS, 128 GB unified memory, configurable 40-130 W) and the Isaac GR00T workflow that ships with it.

What does the Isaac GR00T platform include?

Five components: Isaac Teleop to capture demonstration data, GR00T open foundation models for humanoid reasoning and multitask behavior, Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab to train and evaluate policies before real-world deployment, accelerated Isaac ROS middleware to move trained policies onto the robot, and Jetson Thor for real-time on-robot inference. The design is modular: use the full platform or integrate selected capabilities into an existing pipeline.

When will the H2 Plus be available?

Unitree has stated the H2 Plus will be available in late 2026. For supply and delivery planning in Turkey you can request preliminary information through Robotlar.org; pricing has not yet been published, so we proceed on a quote basis.

Does Isaac GR00T work only on the H2 Plus?

No. The announcement states that the Isaac GR00T developer platform will also support the Unitree G1 humanoid, with the reference workflow for the G1 expected on GitHub and Hugging Face. As the G1 is widely used across research institutions, this extends the same development approach to a much broader audience.
