How many models does RealMan have?
The Robotlar.org catalogue lists 5 models: the RealBot-01, RealBot-L2 and RealBot-S2 wheeled dual-arm humanoids and the Single-Arm Lift and Dual-Arm Lift lift-column mobile manipulators. RealMan's RM, RML, ECO and RX series robotic arms, WHJ and WHG joint modules, grippers, teleoperation kit and chassis platforms are sourced as components within a project scope.
How do I choose between the RealBot-01, L2 and S2?
The RealBot-01 carries the broadest perception package with its separable base, 21 axes and 7-axis RX75 arms, and its upper body mounts on other chassis. The RealBot-L2 is a simpler platform with a two-wheel differential chassis and a 300 mm lift column, 17 axes and 1.0 m/s. The RealBot-S2 is aimed at multi-robot sites with a four-steer four-drive chassis, folding legs, 20 axes, 1.5 m/s, optional 5G and automatic dock charging. All three carry 5 kg per arm and a vertical working range up to 2.1 m.
What are they used for?
Real-robot data collection and model training for embodied AI, pick-and-place and loading and unloading on production lines, product handling and shelf scanning at different shelf heights in warehouses and retail, two-handed tasks in commercial and home settings, and manipulation and navigation work at universities and research centres.
How are the robots programmed?
RealMan supports the JSON and Modbus protocols; C, C++, C# and Python SDKs, ROS and ROS 2 packages, API documentation, sample demos, 3D models and dimensional drawings are provided in the developer centre. The Dual-Arm Lift and RealBot models are driven through wired teleoperation and record task data, which is used in AI model training.
