RealMan: wheeled humanoid robots and lift-column mobile manipulators

RealMan (RealMan Intelligent Technology) is a maker of lightweight robotic arms and joint modules founded in Beijing in 2018; with offices in Changzhou, Shenzhen, Tokyo and San Francisco it has served more than 8,000 enterprise customers, its robotic arms run at an MTBF of 50,000 hours, and in March 2026 the company closed a funding round of nearly 70 million dollars. The RealMan RealBot-01 is a wheeled humanoid robot with 21 active degrees of freedom that combines a separable wheeled base with a humanoid upper body in one system. The 570 × 465 × 1680 mm body weighs approximately 125 kg; each of the two RX75 arms carries 5 kg, vertical reach is 2100 mm and horizontal reach 1818 mm without end-effector. Five depth cameras, three fisheye cameras, a LiDAR, two IMUs and a microphone array give it 3D reconstruction, obstacle detection, object and gesture recognition, autonomous navigation and sound source localization; it is designed for AI training and data collection, retail, education and industrial production lines.

The RealMan RealBot-L2 is a full-size wheeled humanoid robot whose two humanoid arms work on a 300 mm lift column to cover a 0-2.1 m vertical working range. The 650 × 512 × 1700 mm body weighs approximately 120 kg; 14 of its 17 active degrees of freedom sit in the two 7-axis arms and the remaining three in the head, waist and lift axes, with a 5 kg payload per arm. The two-wheel differential chassis runs SLAM navigation and dynamic obstacle avoidance at 0.1-1.0 m/s; the 48 V 20 Ah battery gives around 6 hours of operation, and the robot is built for home service, retail guidance and data collection.
