Overview
PUDU D7 is Pudu Robotics' industrial semi-humanoid robot for manufacturing and warehouse environments. The version introduced on 1 June 2026 combines industrial-grade hardware with embodied intelligence.
At its core is the PuduFM 1.0 embodied intelligence model. Unlike conventional industrial robots that rely on predefined programs and fixed workflows, the D7 understands tasks, learns from experience and improves its behaviour in real environments. An end-to-end data collection architecture captures field data with low latency and feeds it into model training.
Its dual arms carry up to 14 kg and work at heights up to 2 metres: shelf picking, inventory replenishment, material handling and intralogistics. Force control moves heavy items while reducing damage risk, and tactile sensors provide millimetre-level force adjustment in work such as dispensing and assembly.
360° perception with front and rear LiDAR gives safe movement in factories with mixed traffic, requiring no extensive facility modification. Autonomous battery swapping removes shift interruptions.

Dual-Arm Warehouse and Material Handling
It autonomously performs material handling, shelf picking, inventory replenishment and intralogistics transport in storage and warehouse areas. It carries up to 14 kg and works at heights up to 2 metres, interacting directly with high-rack systems. Precision force control lets the dual arms move heavy items while reducing the risk of product damage, and it can push carts to move material across the facility.
Tactile Intelligence with Millimetre Precision
For precision applications such as dispensing, assembly and fine manipulation it carries tactile sensors that read contact force and pressure in real time. Applied force is adjusted dynamically to the material and the task: delicate grasping, controlled pressing and precision force application stay stable.
360° Environmental Awareness
A comprehensive perception system with front and rear LiDAR continuously captures surrounding spatial information, identifying obstacles, route changes and environmental conditions in real time. In dynamic factories with mixed traffic it anticipates risk and adjusts its route, requiring no extensive facility modification.
24/7 with Autonomous Battery Swapping
It removes, replaces and recharges its battery without human intervention. Round-the-clock operation without shift interruptions raises equipment utilisation and line continuity.
Continuous Learning with PuduFM 1.0
The end-to-end data collection architecture captures field data with low latency and processes it in sync. Through this loop PuduFM 1.0 learns operational procedures, spatial relationships and manufacturing processes; the robot improves its decision quality with every navigation, grasp and interaction. Its capabilities do not stay fixed after deployment.
