Humanoid Robot Factory Automation — Unitree H2 Industrial Guide 2026

UNITREE Turkey Hub & Competence Center
A new era in factory automation: humanoid robots. Unitree H2, with 182 cm height, 31 DoF and 360 N·m leg torque, is one of the first commercial humanoid robots that can be integrated into existing production lines in place of humans. In this guide, we examine H2's practical use in factory scenarios.

Why Humanoid Robots?

Unlike traditional industrial arms, humanoids can integrate into existing human workstations without physical overhauls. H2's 182 cm height and 7 DoF arms can operate tools and equipment designed for humans.

Material Handling & Palletizing

With ~15 kg peak payload per arm, H2 can perform box picking, palletizing, and shelf management. 360 N·m leg torque ensures stability while carrying heavy loads. Dynamic walking facilitates navigation in narrow aisles.

Production Line Integration

H2 can handle component placement, bolt tightening, and quality control intervention on the line. Motion control algorithms are continuously optimized via OTA updates.

Quality Control & Inspection

Equipped with a humanoid binocular camera system and Intel Core i7, H2 performs visual quality control. Its wide range of motion allows inspection from various angles.

Complementary Use with G1

The compact G1 robot complements H2 in narrow spaces and desktop assembly stations. H2 handles large tasks while G1 takes on precision, small-scale duties across the factory.

ROI and Investment Analysis

7/24 operation capability reduces shift costs and shortens ROI. Maintenance efficiency and power savings provide flexibility over traditional automation.
