Guoxing RXR-MC80BD

Explosion-Proof Firefighting Robot

The Guoxing RXR-MC80BD is a 726 kg tracked firefighting robot built to the GB3836-2010 explosion-protection standard. It throws 80 litres per second of water or foam to 85 metres, measures six toxic and combustible gases and locates the fire source with a thermal imager when visibility is lost. It runs for 5 hours, wades 400 mm and is controlled from 1,000 m.

Overview

The RXR-MC80BD is an extinguishing robot designed for refineries, tank farms and chemical plants with explosive-atmosphere risk; the body is built to the GB3836-2010 explosion-protection standard. At 1612 × 910 × 1427 mm and 726 kg it exceeds 1.5 m/s, clears 220 mm obstacles, climbs 70 percent grades, drifts 5.1 percent on straight runs and stops within 15 cm. Protection is IP67 with IP65 on the superstructure; it wades 400 mm and drags two 80 mm hoses for 100 m. Working time is 5 hours. The monitor delivers 80 litres per second at 1.0 MPa; water range is 85 m, foam range 80 m, pitch -18 to +90 degrees, rotation ±45 degrees. A thermal imager, six-gas measurement (O2, CO2, CO, H2S, CH4, NH3), anti-collision, spray cooling, lighting and audible-visual alarm are standard. The camera platform rises from 1430 mm to 1940 mm. The portable control box has a 15 inch display, weighs under 10 kg and uses a 902-928 MHz digital link.

A body for explosive atmospheres

The body is built to the GB3836-2010 explosion-protection standard. It enters zones at refineries, tank farms and chemical units that standard robots cannot.

A body for explosive atmospheres

Six gases, thermal vision

O2, CO2, CO, H2S, CH4 and NH3 are measured; the thermal imager shows the fire source in smoke where sight is lost. The camera platform rises to 1.94 m to see behind obstacles.

Six gases, thermal vision

Drags two hoses for 100 metres

It pulls two 80 mm hoses for 100 m by itself, wades 400 mm and runs for 5 hours. The monitor delivers 80 litres per second to 85 m.

A 15 inch portable controller

The control box under 10 kg carries a 15 inch display and works from 1,000 m over a 902-928 MHz digital link; the operator watches vehicle images and gas readings on one screen.

RXR-MC80BD Frequently Asked Questions

The most commonly asked questions and answers about RXR-MC80BD.

The manufacturer states the body is designed and produced to the Chinese GB3836-2010 explosion-protection standard. No ATEX or IECEx certificate is published; for sites requiring European certification this is clarified with the manufacturer at quotation.

The detailed chassis table gives 1612 × 910 × 1427 mm and 726 kg; the rounded figure in the summary box is the product family's template.

Both carry an 80 L/s monitor with an 85 m range. The MC80BD stands apart with its explosion-proof body, thermal imager, six-gas measurement, rising camera platform and 5 hour working time; the M80D-13KT is lighter (660 kg) with a standard body.
