LimX Dynamics: full-size humanoids and multi-modal biped robots
LimX Dynamics is a China-based legged robot company headquartered in Shenzhen. The line splits three ways. First, full-size humanoids: the Luna at 160 cm with 27 degrees of freedom and 200 N·m peak motor torque for dance and gymnastics, and the general-purpose Oli offered in three editions at 31, 33 and 43 degrees of freedom. Second, TRON 2: a mobile manipulation platform in three forms with 7 degrees of freedom per arm and ±0.5 mm repeat positioning accuracy. Third, TRON 1: a reinforcement learning research entry platform giving point-foot, sole and wheeled modes in a single purchase through a modular foot end. What distinguishes the company is running motion control and perception on separate compute units.

The Luna is for interaction and performance: 160 cm, 56 kg, 27 degrees of freedom, 200 N·m peak motor torque and 3 kg payload per arm. The Oli is for general-purpose work: 165 or 175 cm, 31 to 43 degrees of freedom, 7 per arm and four end effector options. Choose the Oli for manipulation, the Luna for stage and interaction.
A modular foot end delivers three modes in a single purchase: point-foot as the simplest legged form for learning control algorithms, sole for humanoid legged standing and walking, and wheeled for all-terrain mobility. Three separate research problems can be studied on one body.
