Siasun D20S-1

Autonomous Stacker Forklift

The Siasun D20S-1 is the 2000 kg stacker of the forklift family: it lifts a pallet to a 1600 mm fork height and localises with 3D SLAM to ±10 mm and ±1 degree. It recognises the offset of a carrier where it stands and steers the forks accordingly, and the forks are customised to the pallet type. Running 5 to 8 hours per charge, the CE-certified body takes on two-tonne pallet flows in automotive, lithium battery, photovoltaic, semiconductor, food, pharmaceutical, 3C and tobacco plants.

Overview

The D20S-1 is the 2000 kg autonomous stacker of the Siasun forklift mobile robot family and shares its platform with the 1500 kg D15S-1. The family is built for pallet transport, stacking and retrieval in line-side and production logistics and in warehouse logistics; the D20S-1 takes on the line-side work of the two-tonne pallet. Fork lift height is 1600 mm and the forks are customised to the customer's pallet type. Navigation is 3D SLAM: the robot maps its surroundings in three dimensions, localises to ±10 mm and ±1 degree and docks at millimetre level with peripherals such as conveyors, racks and stations. Carrier offset recognition steers the forks to the offset when a pallet or carrier is not left perfectly aligned at the station. The motion set covers forward and reverse travel, turning and in-place rotation; rated operating time is 5 to 8 hours per charge. The body is CE-certified and works in areas shared with people through layered safety devices and 360 degree environmental awareness. Target sectors are automotive and parts, lithium battery, photovoltaics, semiconductors, food, pharmaceuticals, 3C electronics and tobacco. The fleet layer is the IMRS 2.0 platform: TCS vehicle dispatch and traffic control supports VDA5050, OPC UA, Modbus and MQTT and connects to MES/ERP/WMS systems; LWS warehouse management, SAS statistics, LPT layout planning, DTS digital twin and IoT modules sit on the same platform. Siasun forklift AGVs work at sites such as BMW Brilliance, Tianjin Lisheng Pharmaceutical, Atlantic China Welding Consumables and the Tianjin factory of Shanghai Tobacco. Robotlar.org supplies the D20S-1 to warehouse and production projects in Turkey with enterprise supply, commissioning and engineering support.

ENGINEERING ANALYSIS

D20S-1: Technical Analysis

A stacker for the two-tonne pallet

Automotive parts bins, lithium battery modules and photovoltaic panels often produce pallets beyond the limit of a 1500 kg stacker. The D20S-1 fills that gap: it lifts a 2000 kg rated load to a 1600 mm fork height and combines pallet transport, stacking and retrieval in one body. As load rises, fork placement becomes more critical; the robot recognises the offset of a carrier where it stands and steers the forks to it, so a pallet that was not aligned by hand is still picked.

A shared platform with the D15S-1

The D20S-1 shares its navigation, motion and safety architecture with the 1500 kg D15S-1: 3D SLAM, ±10 mm and ±1 degree positioning, forward, reverse, turning and in-place rotation, a CE-certified body and 360 degree environmental awareness. The difference is rated load. The two models run in one fleet; the TCS dispatch layer of the IMRS 2.0 platform assigns each task to the robot of the right load class. The Siasun forklift family covers the 1500 to 3000 kg range and forks are customised to the pallet.

Docking accuracy

Positioning to ±10 mm and ±1 degree lets the robot dock at millimetre level with conveyors, racks, stations and other peripherals; this breadth of interfaces is a distinguishing feature of the forklift family. Rotating on the spot lowers the aisle requirement at tight line sides. A charge lasts 5 to 8 hours and the charging window is set around the shift plan.

Applications

  • Automotive and parts: feeding heavy bins and die pallets to the line side.
  • Lithium battery and photovoltaics: stacking module and panel pallets.
  • Semiconductor and 3C: pallet transfer between warehouse and production.
  • Food and pharmaceutical: two-tonne pallet flows in hygiene-controlled warehouses.
  • Tobacco: stacking leaf and finished-goods pallets.

Price and sourcing

The 2000 kg autonomous stacker of the Siasun forklift family: 3D SLAM navigation, a 1600 mm fork lift height, ±10 mm and ±1 degree positioning, 5 to 8 hours of runtime and a CE-certified body.

When a pallet or carrier is not left perfectly aligned at the station, the robot detects the offset and steers the forks accordingly; manual pre-alignment drops and pick errors fall.

Forks are customised to the customer's pallet and load type; pallet dimensions, weight and stacking height are shared before quotation. The 1600 mm lift height is fixed.

The TCS layer of the IMRS 2.0 platform handles task dispatch and traffic control; with VDA5050, OPC UA, Modbus and MQTT support it connects to MES, ERP and WMS systems. LWS warehouse management and the DTS digital twin sit on the same platform.
