Overview

The L1 Maker is the assembly version of the Genisom L1 designed for university and vocational education. The robot arrives at part level: twelve CHAMP P65 joint modules, aluminium-alloy and engineering-plastic body parts, mainboard, battery and camera. Students learn the quadruped structure and assembly logic through a flow from single parts to sub-assemblies and on to the complete robot; the product is designed to be taken apart and rebuilt repeatedly, and modular assembly plus production calibration are supported in software. The assembled robot gives the same values as the industrial L1: 630 × 360 × 415 mm standing, 15 kg, 8 kg walking payload (limit 10 kg), 3.7 m/s top and 5 m/s limit speed, 16 cm continuous stairs, 30° standard and 40° limit grades, 48 N·m peak torque, IP54 and a 0 to 40°C range. AI reinforcement-learning motion control is standard; it performs forward and upward jumps, two-legged standing and backflips. It carries an 8 megapixel wide-angle camera and an IMU, and secondary development is supported. The 43.2 V 5 Ah battery runs 1 to 2 hours and 6 km, charging in 1 hour. The table has no rows for target tracking, OTA or video transmission; these functions are confirmed in writing at quotation.

Education from parts to whole

The product is designed for repeated assembly; each term a new group builds the same robot. Modular assembly and production calibration are supported in software, and the built robot goes to the field after calibration.
