Overview
PUDU D5-W is the wheeled-leg member of the D5 series. Its 900 × 543 × 572 mm body weighs 56 kg with battery; it walks with 20-30 kg of continuous payload and cruises at up to 5 m/s.
The difference from the walking D5 is at the foot: wheels extend range on long flat routes and runtime rises to 2-3 hours, while the maximum step height is 25 cm (30 cm on the D5). Climbing capability up to 80 cm and 45° ascent and descent are identical.
Computing reaches up to 275 TOPS with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX 64 GB and an RK3588. Perception covers 360° with two spherical 3D LiDARs (96-line standard, 192-line optional) and four fisheye cameras. IP67 protection, a -20°C to 55°C range and cold start below -10°C keep outdoor duty going.
Voice and gesture control, smart follow in crowds and the RCOS remote control system are shared across both forms; the metal delivery crate, inspection kit and charging station build out security patrol, facility inspection and on-site delivery.

Wheel Efficiency on Long Flat Routes
Wheeled legs extend range on long flat routes such as campus roads, facility corridors and warehouse aisles: the same 1000 Wh battery delivers 2-3 hours of runtime. When steps and obstacles appear, the legs take over.
