Overview
The L1-W is Genisom's wheeled-leg robot in the small industrial class. It measures 630 × 430 × 485 mm standing and 690 × 540 × 165 mm lying, and weighs 22 kg with battery. Four high-performance hub motors give fast, quiet driving on flat ground; operating noise is 55 dB and the clatter of legs disappears. Top speed is 3.7 m/s and limit speed 5.5 m/s; it clears thresholds, ramps and ditches up to 65 cm, climbs 16 cm steps continuously and takes 30° standard and 40° limit grades. It carries about 10 kg walking, 12 kg at the limit. Twelve joint modules deliver 48 N·m peak torque and need no calibration; motion control is trained with AI reinforcement learning. The body is protected 360 degrees, with an inner skeleton and outer soft gel at head and tail; IP54 and the 0 to 40°C range cover summer and winter sites. An 8 megapixel wide-angle camera recognises and tracks targets; seven open hardware interfaces and a full SDK allow secondary development. The 43.2 V 5 Ah battery runs 1 to 2 hours and 9 km, charging in 1 hour. A remote with display, adapter and charging dock are standard.
Fast on wheels, obstacles on legs
On flat ground the wheels drive at 3.7 m/s (limit 5.5 m/s); at thresholds, ramps and ditches the legs take over and clear 65 cm obstacles and 16 cm steps. Indoor and outdoor on one robot.
Quiet on patrol
Wheel drive runs at 55 dB; in the manufacturer's patrol video the robot completes a garden and courtyard round without the clatter of legs.
9 km on one charge
The 43.2 V 5 Ah battery gives 9 km of range on wheels, 50 percent more than the L1's 6 km. Charging takes 1 hour.

Seven open hardware interfaces and a full SDK
Seven standard hardware interfaces are open, including Ethernet, USB 3.0/2.0 and 24 V/12 V power output; an SDK covering motion, video-stream and status interfaces allows secondary development. Computing boards, perception, positioning, 4G and long-range video modules can be mounted.

About the Genisom L1-W
L1-W Frequently Asked Questions
The most commonly asked questions and answers about L1-W.
The L1-W's own page gives 65 cm; the short blurb on the L1 page says 60 cm. 60 cm is the safe planning value.
Yes; it climbs 16 cm steps continuously. For higher steps the L2-W (25 cm) or M1 (25 cm) is considered.
The L1-W EDU is the version carrying NVIDIA Orin NX (100 TOPS), 3D LiDAR, a depth camera, GNSS and a 5G module; as no parameter table is published, values are confirmed in writing at quotation.
Charging time is measured at 25°C ambient and range at 1 m/s unloaded; all values are laboratory data and vary with site conditions.
The Genisom L1-W is sourced on a project basis: the use case, payload and modules to be carried are settled at the survey; import, commissioning and operator training are part of delivery. For a quotation, send site conditions, daily mission time and the accessories required.
