Genisom L2

Mid-Class Industrial Quadruped Robot

The Genisom L2 is a mid-class industrial quadruped whose 21 kg body carries 16 kg while walking and bears 150 kg static load standing; its payload-to-weight ratio exceeds 7:1. The 756 Wh battery runs 5.5 hours and 20 km unloaded, 3.5 hours and 12 km at full load. 95 N·m joints take 22 cm steps and 40° grades; the IP66 body works in rain, dust and mud from -20 to 55°C.

Overview

The L2 is the mid-class industrial quadruped Genisom calls its legged sport edition, carrying more than twice the power of the L1. It measures 720 × 390 × 480 mm standing and 780 × 460 × 190 mm lying, and weighs 21 kg with battery. Continuous payload is about 16 kg and static load standing 150 kg; the payload-to-weight ratio is above 7:1. Top speed is 3.2 m/s and limit speed 5 m/s; it climbs 22 cm steps continuously, takes 40° grades and clears 70 cm vertical obstacles. Twelve joint motors deliver 95 N·m peak torque; the body is made of a second-generation high-strength alloy. The 15,000 mAh (756 Wh) battery runs 5.5 hours and 20 km unloaded, 3.5 hours and 12 km at full load, and charges in 1.5 hours; that is 3.5 times the previous generation's capacity and twice the endurance. IP66 protection and the -20 to 55°C range cover downpours, dust, mud, freezing cold and high heat. An 8-core processor, IMU and 2.07 megapixel stereo camera are standard; advanced motions such as handstands, bipedal standing and backflips, UWB, autonomous following and intelligent obstacle avoidance are supported. This edition has no 3D LiDAR, RTK, target tracking, autonomous navigation or real-time video; those are found on the L2-W Ultra. Five expansion interfaces (2 × USB 3.0, M12 17 and 18-pin, 4G SIM) accept modules; a remote without display, adapter and charging dock are standard and the autonomous charging station optional.

A seven-to-one payload ratio

The 21 kg body carries 16 kg walking and bears 150 kg static load standing; in the manufacturer's film two people stand on the robot. It is the highest payload-to-weight ratio in its class.

No range anxiety

The 756 Wh battery runs 5.5 hours and 20 km unloaded, closing a full patrol or inspection shift on one charge. It charges in 1.5 hours, and an autonomous charging station is optional.

70 cm obstacles on 95 N·m

The second-generation alloy body and twelve joints with 95 N·m peak torque climb 22 cm steps continuously, clear 70 cm vertical obstacles and take 40° grades.

IP66 at minus twenty

IP66 protection in downpours, dust and mud; the -20 to 55°C range covers freezing and hot sites. It is the step above the L1's IP54 and 0-40°C limits.

L2 Frequently Asked Questions

The most commonly asked questions and answers about L2.

The L2 is the legged sport edition (21 kg, 3.2 m/s, 22 cm steps, 20 km). The L2-W adds wheels to the same body (27 kg, 3.7 m/s, 25 cm steps, 20 km). The L2-W Ultra adds two 96-line LiDARs, a surround fisheye camera array, RTK and 5G to the wheeled body; autonomous navigation and target tracking exist only on the Ultra (16 km).

Continuous walking payload is about 16 kg; the 150 kg figure is the static load the robot can bear while standing and does not apply in motion. Module selection is based on 16 kg.

Not on this edition. The L2 table leaves 3D LiDAR, RTK, target tracking and autonomous navigation empty; autonomous following uses UWB. The RoamerX navigation system is on the L2-W Ultra, which carries LiDAR and RTK.

Charging time is measured at 25°C ambient and range at 1 m/s unloaded; all values are laboratory data and vary with site conditions.

The Genisom L2 is sourced on a project basis: the use case, payload and modules to be carried are settled at the survey; import, commissioning and operator training are part of delivery. For a quotation, send site conditions, daily mission time and the accessories required.
