Overview
The NE 01 is the entry model of Genisom's humanoid series, designed for high-dynamic, agile movement. Its 24 degrees of freedom come with 5 axes per arm; the highest peak torque among the joint motors is 120 N·m and arm payload 2 kg. The 1328 mm, roughly 37 kg body is human scale at 403 mm shoulder width and 185 mm depth; each leg has 6 and the waist 2 degrees of freedom. Maximum walking speed is 2.5 m/s; the 540 Wh battery runs about 2 hours at 1 m/s. A 1080p stereo camera, microphone and speaker, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard; OTA updates are supported and a remote controller is included. Operating temperature is -10 to 40°C. An 8-core main processor runs the motion control; this version has no expansion processor or secondary development support, so the NE 01 is used with its ready behaviour package in exhibition, show and education settings. Teams wanting to run their own algorithms have the SDK-enabled NE 01 Pro and Ultra. In the product video the robot shows its posture in a studio shot and a dynamic kick on a field.
Human scale at 37 kilos
The 1328 mm height and 403 mm shoulder width are human scale; the body weighs about 37 kg. Six axes per leg and two at the waist keep the torso balanced while walking.
Two and a half metres per second
Maximum walking speed is 2.5 m/s; the 540 Wh battery runs about 2 hours at a 1 m/s pace. Show and exhibition programmes are planned in two-hour blocks.
It sees, hears and speaks
A 1080p stereo camera, microphone and speaker are standard; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth plus a remote controller are included. The behaviour package is renewed over OTA updates.
Shows with ready behaviours
This version carries no expansion processor or SDK; the robot works in exhibition, show and education settings with its ready behaviour package. Teams loading their own software choose the Pro or Ultra.

About the Genisom NE 01
NE 01 Frequently Asked Questions
The most commonly asked questions and answers about NE 01.
All three share 1328 mm height, 37 kg, 2.5 m/s and a 540 Wh battery. The NE 01 gives 24 degrees of freedom, 120 N·m torque and 2 kg arm payload, with no expansion processor or SDK. The Pro adds 180 N·m torque, a Jetson Orin Nano (67 TOPS) and the SDK. The Ultra gives 28 degrees of freedom with 7-DoF arms, 3 kg arm payload and a Jetson Orin NX (157 TOPS).
Peak torque varies by joint; the table value is the highest peak torque among all joint motors. Arm payload varies significantly with arm extension and posture. All values are laboratory data; functional details are in the secondary development manual.
Secondary development is not supported on the NE 01 and there is no expansion processor. To run your own controller and perception software with the SDK, the NE 01 Pro or Ultra with a Jetson Orin is required.
The Genisom NE 01 is sourced on a project basis: the use case, payload and modules to be carried are settled at the survey; import, commissioning and operator training are part of delivery. For a quotation, send site conditions, daily mission time and the accessories required.
