Overview

The NE 01 Pro is the SDK-enabled middle version of Genisom's humanoid series. Its 24 degrees of freedom come with 5 axes per arm; the highest peak torque among the joint motors rises from the NE 01's 120 N·m to 180 N·m, and arm payload is 2 kg. The 1328 mm, roughly 37 kg body is human scale at 403 mm shoulder width and 185 mm depth; each leg has 6 and the waist 2 degrees of freedom. Maximum walking speed is 2.5 m/s; the 540 Wh battery runs about 2 hours at 1 m/s. A 1080p stereo camera, microphone and speaker, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard; OTA updates are supported and a remote controller is included. Operating temperature is -10 to 40°C. Alongside the 8-core main processor sits an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano expansion processor with 67 TOPS; secondary development is supported, control, perception and learning algorithms run on this processor, and functional details are given in the secondary development manual. It is designed for university laboratories and research in reinforcement learning and human-robot interaction; teams wanting 7-axis arms and a stronger processor move to the Ultra.
