Overview

The NE 01 Ultra is the version of Genisom's humanoid series extended for manipulation and computing. Each arm has 7 axes; the 28 degrees of freedom in total (legs 6 × 2, arms 7 × 2, waist 2) give the arm a redundant degree of freedom and human-like reach away from joint limits. The highest peak torque among the joint motors is 180 N·m and arm payload 3 kg. The 1328 mm, roughly 37 kg body is human scale at 403 mm shoulder width and 185 mm depth; each leg has 6 and the waist 2 degrees of freedom. Maximum walking speed is 2.5 m/s; the 540 Wh battery runs about 2 hours at 1 m/s. A 1080p stereo camera, microphone and speaker, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard; OTA updates are supported and a remote controller is included. Operating temperature is -10 to 40°C. Alongside the 8-core main processor sits an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX with 157 TOPS; secondary development is supported, and vision-based manipulation, large-model inference and learned controllers run on the robot. It is designed for research in object grasping, bimanual manipulation and human-robot interaction; because arm payload and torque vary with posture, the task plan is assessed at quotation together with the secondary development manual.
