Overview
The L1 is Genisom's industrial-grade small quadruped. It measures 630 × 360 × 415 mm standing and 670 × 425 × 145 mm lying, and weighs 15 kg with battery. It carries about 8 kg while walking, with a 10 kg limit. Top speed is 3.7 m/s and limit speed 5 m/s; it climbs 16 cm steps continuously and takes 30° grades in standard conditions, 40° at the limit. Its motion control is among the first in series production to run on AI reinforcement learning; it self-balances on rough ground, sand and rubble and performs forward and upward jumps, two-legged standing and backflips. Twelve CHAMP P65 high-power-density joint modules deliver 48 N·m peak torque and need no calibration; the body uses Genisom's own alloy and passed one million impact tests. Head and tail combine an inner skeleton with an outer soft rubber, and the body is protected 360 degrees; the IP54 rating and 0 to 40°C range cover summer sun, hot factories and cold nights. An 8 megapixel wide-angle camera (DFOV 122°) with a monocular AI perception model recognises and tracks targets. An 8-core processor and a 43.2 V 5 Ah battery give 1 to 2 hours and 6 km, charging in 1 hour; a remote with display, adapter and charging dock are standard and the flight case optional. Millisecond-synchronised formations of dozens of robots and heterogeneous cooperation with drones are supported.
Locomotion that learns as it runs
Motion control is trained with AI reinforcement learning; the robot self-balances on sand, rubble and mountain paths, climbs 16 cm steps continuously and takes a 40° limit grade.
On security patrol
In the manufacturer's patrol video the robot leaves a QR-marked station, roams a historic street, runs real-time face and behaviour analysis and returns to the dock when the mission ends.
Calibration-free 48 N·m joints
Twelve CHAMP P65 joint modules deliver 48 N·m peak torque and need no calibration; the body alloy passed one million impact tests.

Seven open hardware interfaces and a full SDK
Seven standard hardware interfaces are open, including Ethernet, USB 3.0/2.0 and 24 V/12 V power output; an SDK covering motion, video-stream and status interfaces allows secondary development. Computing boards, perception, positioning, 4G and long-range video modules can be mounted.

About the Genisom L1
L1 Frequently Asked Questions
The most commonly asked questions and answers about L1.
Continuous payload while walking is about 8 kg and the limit 10 kg. The limit is for short periods on flat ground; module selection is based on 8 kg.
The protection rating is IP54: it withstands dust and splashing water, not immersion or downpours. For continuous missions in rain the IP66 L2 or IP67 M1 is considered.
The L1-W adds four hub motors to the same body: 22 kg, 10 kg payload, 65 cm obstacle clearance and 9 km range. The L1 Maker is the same platform delivered in parts for education; students assemble the robot.
Charging time is measured at 25°C ambient and range at 1 m/s unloaded; all values are laboratory data and vary with site conditions.
The Genisom L1 is sourced on a project basis: the use case, payload and modules to be carried are settled at the survey; import, commissioning and operator training are part of delivery. For a quotation, send site conditions, daily mission time and the accessories required.
