Who It Is For: Patrol, Inspection, Research
The D1 Ultra's choices adapt a compact body to field work: IP54 protection targets wet floors and dusty facilities, calibration-free dual-encoder joints target out-of-the-box use, and the Ethernet, USB, SBUS and UART ports target autonomous patrol setups with LiDAR, RTK and 4G modules. Use areas: emergency rescue, security, inspection, education and entertainment; the flyer adds field exploration and target tracking. Autonomous navigation and intelligent follow require secondary development's note, so an organization expecting a ready-made patrol application should write that into the project plan.
Quadruped Alternatives Deliverable Today
In the compact class the Unitree Go2 (15 kg, 3.5 m/s PRO, 40° slopes) can be ordered in Turkey today; for industrial patrol, 25 kg payloads and shifts beyond 5 hours the Unitree A2 (42 kg, 5 m/s, IP56-IP67, 180 Nm) is the stronger option. Both come with 4-6 week delivery, a 1-year official warranty, on-site commissioning and engineering support across Turkey. What sets the D1 Ultra apart is IP54 protection and expansion ports in a 16 kg body; on speed and torque it plays in the same league as the Go2.
