Overview

The AgiBot A2 Lite is the simplified full-size humanoid in Shanghai-based AgiBot's A2 series, built for performance and entertainment. It is a new-generation full-size performance star; its tagline is master of performance, stage dominator.

Hardware: a 169 × 75 × 30 cm body, about 64 kg, 23 degrees of freedom (neck 1, 5 per arm, 6 per leg), 270 Nm of peak torque at the knee, 0.8 m/s walking speed and roughly 2 kg of arm load. A 14.4 Ah swappable battery gives 4.5 hours standing and over 1.5 hours walking; hot swap and a 2-hour fast charge (110-220 V input, 54.6 V 8 A output) are supported. Compute is a 16-core CPU and connectivity is Wi-Fi; LiDAR, cameras, the expression screen and the Jetson Orin board are reserved for the A2 Ultra.

On the software side, dance development, swarm control software and smart OTA are standard; the skill library starts with Swing Dance, Victory Dance, Taiji, Nezha Dance, Cheerleading Dance, clapper talk and Peking Opera. The optional VR kit records motions without coding. Every unit passes 92 full inspection items and aging tests; the box contains the robot, two chargers, a battery pack, a wireless emergency stop and a controller.

For organizations with an A2 Lite requirement we assess sourcing, timing and the humanoid alternatives deliverable today (Unitree G1 and H2) transparently.

Technical Analysis of the Performance RobotDesign decisions, comparison table and evaluation

Where Lite and Ultra Differ

The two models share the same body (169 × 75 × 30 cm) and the same 270 Nm knee torque; the difference is in perception and compute. The Ultra carries 40 degrees of freedom (including 6-DoF dexterous hands), 3D LiDAR, RGB-D, RGB and fisheye cameras, an expression screen, an array microphone and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 64 GB; the Lite comes with 23 degrees of freedom, a 16-core CPU and Wi-Fi, with no sensor suite and no second board. That is why the Lite is built for pre-planned stage programmes rather than autonomous guiding and conversational interaction.

Enough Hardware for the Show

A 0.8 m/s walking speed and 4.5 hours standing are enough for choreography and stage transitions; repeatable motion sequences matter more than speed here. Because dance development and swarm control software are standard, several units can play the same choreography in sync, and the VR kit records new motions without coding. With an arm load of about 2 kg, carrying or service tasks are out of scope.

Reliability and Logistics

The 92-item full inspection and aging tests per unit are the production discipline behind the A2 series' fleet of over a thousand deployed units. A hot-swappable battery and a 2-hour charge mean uninterrupted shows with a spare pack; sitting-posture packaging and a wireless emergency stop switch simplify touring logistics and stage safety.

Engineering Assessment

The A2 Lite is the A2 Ultra with its perception and compute layer removed: same body, same torque, same battery system, but no sensors and a single board. That is a sensible simplification for pre-planned choreography, swarm shows and brand events; if autonomous guiding, face recognition or voice interaction is needed, the A2 Ultra is the model to look at.

A2 Lite: Frequently Asked Questions

The most common questions about the AgiBot A2 Lite.

Can the AgiBot A2 Lite be bought in Turkey?

Sourcing, delivery schedule and investment for the A2 Lite are settled per project. If you have a corporate requirement you can talk to Robotlar.org: we assess the sourcing process, a realistic timeline and the alternatives deliverable today.

How does the A2 Lite differ from the A2 Ultra?

Same body and the same 270 Nm knee torque; the difference is perception and compute. The Ultra carries 40 degrees of freedom, dexterous hands, 3D LiDAR, RGB-D and fisheye cameras, an expression screen, an array microphone, 4G/5G and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 64 GB, walking at 1.2 m/s. The Lite comes with 23 degrees of freedom, a 16-core CPU and Wi-Fi, walks at 0.8 m/s, and its standing runtime of 4.5 hours is longer than the Ultra's 3 hours.

What performances can the A2 Lite do?

Repertoire: full-body dances (Swing Dance, Victory Dance) and performance skills (Taiji, Nezha Dance, Cheerleading Dance, clapper talk, Peking Opera). Skills are added through OTA updates; swarm control software lets several units perform in sync; the optional VR kit records new motions without coding.

What is in the box?

Robot unit, battery charger, accessory charger, battery pack, wireless emergency stop switch and wireless controller, one of each; the robot ships in sitting-posture packaging. The VR teleoperation kit is optional and not included.

Is there a humanoid alternative deliverable today?

Yes. The Unitree G1 (132 cm, about 35 kg, Jetson Orin) and the full-size Unitree H2 (182 cm, 31 degrees of freedom) can be ordered now, with 4-6 week delivery, a 1-year official warranty, on-site commissioning and engineering support across Turkey. Pricing is set by quote per configuration.
