Why 163 cm and 43 kg

The dimensions are not accidental. At 163 cm the robot stands near eye level with an adult without appearing threatening. At 43 kg it is light compared with industrial humanoids in the same class: the Walker S2 is 70 kg and the Unitree H2 70 kg. Lightness gains two things on a service robot, less risk in a fall and lower energy consumption. A 500 mm arm wingspan and a 5 kg arm weight also show a design for gesturing and pointing rather than carrying loads.

The Walker C makes consistent decisions in service robot design: a height near eye level, a light body, an arm built for gesturing and a multilingual interaction model. Having taken a post on a demanding stage such as Expo 2025 Osaka shows it has not stayed on paper. Against that, the battery capacity is given but the runtime it delivers is not, and that is the first question in any trade fair or building deployment. Our recommendation to an evaluating organization is to request runtime and charging time from the manufacturer and to build the daily shift plan around them.
