The UBTECH Walker C is a humanoid service robot developed for environments such as exhibition halls, office buildings, service centres, shopping malls and transport hubs. We supply UBTECH platforms to corporate projects in Turkey through enterprise supply, commissioning and technical integration. The published dimensions are 163 cm and 43 kg. The battery is 48V 15Ah lithium. Through whole-body motion control the robot walks at a 6 km/h pace across all terrain, and the arm is stated at a 500 mm wingspan and 5 kg of weight.
The manufacturer presents the Walker C as the first embodied AI tour guide of the China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. A world expo pavilion is a demanding stage for a service robot: the crowd changes constantly, visitors speak different languages and the robot stays on its feet all day.

All six are face-to-face, speech-heavy roles that carry no physical load.

A Six Kilometre Pace and Terrain Adaptation
There are a 6 km/h pace and speedy all-terrain walking through whole-body motion control, with AI-powered obstacle detection and adaptation to a dynamic business environment added on top. What matters in an exhibition hall is not top speed but being able to keep moving through a crowd. Noticing a visitor, giving way and re-planning the route is the job of this layer.

Why 163 cm and 43 kg
The dimensions are not accidental. At 163 cm the robot stands near eye level with an adult without appearing threatening. At 43 kg it is light compared with industrial humanoids in the same class: the Walker S2 is 70 kg and the Unitree H2 70 kg. Lightness gains two things on a service robot, less risk in a fall and lower energy consumption. A 500 mm arm wingspan and a 5 kg arm weight also show a design for gesturing and pointing rather than carrying loads.

Engineering Assessment
The Walker C makes consistent decisions in service robot design: a height near eye level, a light body, an arm built for gesturing and a multilingual interaction model. Having taken a post on a demanding stage such as Expo 2025 Osaka shows it has not stayed on paper. Against that, the battery capacity is given but the runtime it delivers is not, and that is the first question in any trade fair or building deployment. Our recommendation to an evaluating organization is to request runtime and charging time from the manufacturer and to build the daily shift plan around them.
