BMR Beton Perdahlama Robotu 80SZ

Autonomous Concrete Trowelling Robot

The BMR 80SZ is a fully autonomous concrete trowelling robot that compacts, lifts the slurry, closes and polishes cast-in-place concrete with an 800 mm trowel disc. It works unmanned with SLAM mapping and a fully automatic navigation system or under remote control by one operator, finishing more than 300 m² per hour in one pass. The 340 kg body runs more than 4 hours on a 48 V 160 Ah battery; on basement, plaza, factory, airport, mall and logistics warehouse slabs it replaces one trowelling worker and lifts floor quality above hand trowelling.

Overview

The 80SZ is the surface-finishing robot of BMR's concrete works family. At 1600 × 900 × 1310 mm and 340 kg it turns an 800 mm trowel disc at 0-150 rpm; single-pass output exceeds 300 m² per hour and measures 300-400 m² on site. On cast-in-place concrete the robot performs large-area compaction, slurry lifting, surface closing and polishing; the finished surface gains density, wear resistance, quality consistency and gloss over hand trowelling. There are two operating modes: unmanned work with SLAM mapping, a fully automatic navigation system and the integrated motion control algorithm, or a remote-control mode where one operator runs one robot; in automatic mode navigation deviation stays under 200 mm and SLAM navigation executes the planned path reliably. Both modes save one traditional trowelling worker and lower workload and safety risk. The 48 V 160 Ah battery runs more than 4 hours and charges in at most 4 hours; operating temperature is 0 to 45°C. References: the Asia-Pacific Headquarters of CanSino Clinical Research and Operations in Guangzhou (47,988 m², China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction) was built with the concrete robot set; at the Shenzhen Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park (278,000 m²) and Tianjin Binhai West Station (CRCC, more than 30,000 m² in 3 months, 160-200 m² per hour, 5 mm flatness over 2 m) it worked alongside the levelling robot.

Unmanned trowelling

SLAM mapping, fully automatic navigation and integrated motion control run the robot on the slab by itself; navigation deviation stays under 200 mm. If preferred, one operator runs it by remote control.

Unmanned trowelling

300-400 square metres an hour

The 800 mm trowel disc turns at 0-150 rpm; single-pass output exceeds 300 m² per hour and measures 300-400 m² on site. Car park and factory slabs are finished in one shift.

A denser, glossier surface

Compaction, slurry lifting, surface closing and polishing on one robot; the finished surface's density, wear resistance, quality consistency and gloss exceed hand trowelling. In Tianjin, together with the levelling robot, 5 mm flatness over 2 m was held.

Four hours of battery, one worker saved

The 48 V 160 Ah battery runs more than 4 hours and charges in 4 hours; both modes save one traditional trowelling worker and lower workload and safety risk.

ENGINEERING ANALYSIS

Concrete Trowelling Robot 80SZ: Technical Analysis

Tying trowelling to a map

In hand trowelling the operator steers the machine across the surface by feel; the number of passes, speed and blade rpm differ from person to person, and gloss and density vary from one end of the slab to the other. The 80SZ maps the slab with SLAM, plans the route and follows it with less than 200 mm of deviation; blade rpm is set between 0 and 150 to the state of the concrete. Every square metre of the slab is finished with the same number of passes and the same pressure; the result is independent of the crew's form that day.

Two modes, one robot

In fully automatic mode the robot works by itself on the SLAM map; one operator monitors several robots from the app. In remote-control mode one operator runs one robot, the mode of choice at formwork edges, column bases and irregular areas. Both modes save one traditional trowelling worker. The 48 V 160 Ah battery runs more than 4 hours and charges in 4 hours; two batteries close a double shift.

Figures from the field

  • Tianjin Binhai West Station (CRCC, from June 2023): more than 30,000 m² of municipal supporting works in 3 months with levelling and finishing robots, 160-200 m² per hour overall and 5 mm flatness over 2 m; the robots also served equipment demonstrations and site filming.
  • Shenzhen Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park (China Construction Third Engineering Bureau): on 278,000 m² of factory and material warehouse slab the concrete robot set cut the workforce by 40 percent.
  • Asia-Pacific Headquarters of CanSino Clinical Research and Operations, Guangzhou (China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction, 47,988 m²): the integrated concrete robot set cut the workforce by 4 people (40 percent) with consistent millimetre-level quality.

Who it is for

For contractors and concrete floor specialists pouring basement, plaza, factory, airport, mall and logistics warehouse slabs, on large areas where flatness and finish quality must stay consistent. It follows the Concrete Leveling Robot; the two together mean one crew from pour to polish.

Applications

  • Basement concrete floor finishing.
  • Industrial factory floor polishing.
  • Airport terminal flooring construction.
  • Shopping mall large-area concrete surfaces.
  • Plaza and public space concrete finishing.
  • Logistics warehouse flooring systems.

Summary

The 80SZ ties the last step of slab concreting to a map: an 800 mm disc, 300-400 m² per hour, less than 200 mm of route deviation and a denser, glossier surface than hand trowelling. Fully automatic or remote-controlled, both modes save one worker; the 30,000 m² station slab in Tianjin and the 278,000 m² industrial park in Shenzhen are among its references. Beton Perdahlama Robotu 80SZ Frequently Asked Questions

The most commonly asked questions and answers about Beton Perdahlama Robotu 80SZ.

On cast-in-place concrete slabs: large areas such as basements, plazas, factories, airports, malls and logistics warehouses. It compacts, lifts the slurry and polishes after initial set on the elevation set by the Concrete Leveling Robot.

In fully automatic mode the robot works by itself on the SLAM map; one operator monitors several robots from the app. In remote-control mode one operator runs one robot.

Route, number of passes and blade rpm follow the map and the algorithm, not the crew's form; surface density, wear resistance and gloss come out consistent. It delivers more than 300 m² per hour in one pass and saves one worker.

BMR robots are controlled from a single application (the BMR unified APP); the operator connects to several nearby robots from one device, and robot plug-ins are downloaded in the app. Floor and coating robots report worked area, time and status through FMS cloud data management.

The BMR 80SZ is sourced on a project basis: the site schedule, floor area, concrete or coating system and site access are settled at the survey; import, commissioning and operator training are part of delivery. For a quotation, send the project type, total square metres and the works programme.
