Overview

The T100 is the exterior wall spraying robot of BMR's work-at-height series. Facade coating has resisted mechanisation for a simple reason: the workplace hangs in mid-air. Automation has to solve three problems at once: carry spray equipment safely at height, adapt to facade geometry that changes window by window, and match the finish quality of an experienced applicator across materials as different as thin latex and aggregate-loaded real-stone paint. BMR's answer is pragmatic: instead of inventing a new access machine, the T100 is designed as a modular, lightweight payload, modules each under 50 kg and a total system weight under 400 kg, mounted on the suspended gondolas already hanging on high-rise projects worldwide. The access infrastructure stays; the person in the basket is replaced by a machine that does not tire, does not lean out and does not vary its stroke. The effective stroke is 2-4 m and the working height up to 100 m; it runs at 4 kW rated power on a 380 V supply, carries an 80 litre material bucket and clears obstacles up to 200 mm. In flat coating systems it delivers 180 m² per hour on gable walls and 100 m² per hour in textured paint; overall coverage exceeds 80 percent including balcony faces, air-conditioner niches and internal and external corners. It switches between semi- and fully automatic modes with manual or fully automatic trajectory planning. Automatic feature recognition and spray path planning, automatic obstacle crossing, remote construction monitoring, construction data statistics and in-air attitude monitoring are standard. How it differs from manual facade painting

Three things: consistency, safety and evidence. A human applicator's stroke varies with fatigue, wind and reach; the T100's path planner generates the same trajectory on the ten-thousandth square metre as on the first, which is why coverage stays above 80 percent even on unforgiving materials such as real-stone paint, where uneven film thickness shows immediately.
