Overview
The Mortar Screeding Robot is the most compact member of BMR's concrete works family: under 790 × 730 × 660 mm and 65 kg, it passes through lifts and residential doors and moves easily between floors and work zones. It spreads and levels dry-mix mortar at 0-10 cm thickness; working accuracy is 3 mm over 2 metres and theoretical output exceeds 130 m² per hour. The workflow is simple: the mortar is placed on the floor, the operator enters the elevation and parameters and starts the job with one button; the laser positioning system monitors floor height in real time, the robot adjusts its screeding mechanism itself and follows the planned path, and manual measuring disappears. The intelligent control system keeps screeding speed, height and pressure constant; instead of results that vary from operator to operator, flatness stays consistent across rooms and zones. It uses an in-house integrated intelligent motion control algorithm, laser measurement and positioning and real-time control technology; positioning, worked-area statistics and machine status are monitored. Working power is 300 W; the 48 V 25 Ah battery runs more than 6 hours and fast-charges in under 3 hours; it carries IP54 protection and a -5 to 40°C operating range. One operator runs the robot remotely; repeated measuring, levelling and screeding are automated and dependence on experienced screeding workers falls. It works at a different stage of the same project as the Concrete Leveling Robot: the levelling robot handles the concrete base, the screeding robot the dry-mortar layer on top.
Fully automatic at one touch
The operator presses one button on the remote; the robot spreads, levels and positions itself, the laser reads the floor elevation continuously and sets the working height, and worked area and machine status are reported.

Three millimetres over two metres
Laser measurement and integrated motion control spread dry mortar at 0-10 cm thickness with 3 mm flatness over 2 metres; because screeding speed, height and pressure stay constant, the result does not change between rooms.

Reducing dependence on the screeding craftsman
In dry-mortar screeding, flatness depends on the craftsman's straightedge and eye; it varies room by room and day by day, and correction work follows. The Mortar Screeding Robot automates measuring, levelling and spreading on one machine: laser positioning monitors the floor elevation in real time, the screeding mechanism adjusts automatically and the planned route is followed. One operator runs the robot remotely; the result stays within 3 mm over 2 metres regardless of the craftsman's experience and rework falls.

Both automate floor levelling; the difference is material and stage. The screeding robot does mortar screeding and elevation control with dry-mix mortar: apartments, public buildings, metro stations and layers above underfloor heating; one-touch fully automatic, more than 130 m² per hour, 0-100 mm thickness, about 65 kg, more than 6 hours of operation. The Concrete Leveling Robot does levelling, slurry lifting and surface closing on fresh concrete: residential slabs, basements, factories, airports and malls; remote-controlled semi-autonomous, 160 m² per hour on the 1.5 m model and 300 m² on the 2.5 m model, 30-150 or 30-250 mm thickness, about 175 or 350 kg, more than 5 or 10 hours of operation. Choose the screeding robot for dry-mix mortar, underfloor heating cover layers and indoor residential flooring; choose the levelling robot for cast-in-place slabs, industrial floors and large commercial areas. On projects with both structural concrete levelling and a later screed layer, the two robots work at different stages.
