Overview
The Putty Grinding Robot is used for putty sanding on interior walls and ceilings of buildings; it has intelligent constant-force grinding, automatic navigation, automatic path planning, vacuuming and dust collection, automatic putty discharge and APP remote operation. Parameterised sanding process settings ensure stable and reliable sanding quality; it is widely used in fine and industrial decoration scenarios such as ordinary residences, villas, commercial housing, apartments and office buildings. Total weight is 550 kg, dimensions 942 × 752 × 1750 mm, working height up to 3,200 mm and positioning accuracy ±2 cm. Overall output of 50 m² per hour is more than 1.5 times manual work and it supports long continuous operation. The battery runs more than 4 hours and charges in under 3 hours; there is an AC 220 V / 5 kW supply, a 100 L dust box, 0.5 m/s speed, 20 mm obstacle and 50 mm trench crossing and a 6° climbing angle. The dust collection design lowers dust emission and noise; the robot removes the risk of working at height and solves the low output and low precision of manual sanding. References: at Aurelle in Singapore (Sim Lian, 14 blocks) putty sanding and primer and topcoat latex spraying on two floors over more than 3,000 m² was completed together with the indoor coating robot; at DAMAC Bay in Dubai three robots, together with the indoor coating and floor grinding robots, are in operation at the same time at 50 m² per hour overall; at the 70-storey Cavalli Tower in Dubai Marina it runs seamless alternating cycles with the indoor coating robot in confined spaces; at The Senique in Hanoi (three 37-storey towers) working hours per floor fell by 56 percent and all 72 units passed first acceptance; at the Sheung Shui public housing project in Hong Kong (November 2024) the finish quality of the putty sanding robot met Hong Kong's highest private residential standard and the coating of 10 floors finished in just over a month; at the QXY Staff Apartment in Singapore (16 August 2024) 69-75 m² of putty-coated wall was sanded in 33 minutes (100-110 m² per hour).
Constant force, repeatable surface
Intelligent constant-force grinding applies the same pressure to wall and ceiling at every point; parameterised process settings give stable, reliable quality. At Sheung Shui in Hong Kong the finish met Hong Kong's highest private residential standard.

Dust in the box, worker on the ground
Vacuuming and dust collection run into a 100 L box and putty residue is discharged automatically; dust emission and noise fall, and the worker stays away from work at height and putty dust.

One and a half times manual output
Overall output of 50 m² per hour is more than 1.5 times manual work, with long continuous operation; at QXY in Singapore 69-75 m² of putty-coated wall was sanded in 33 minutes.

Alternating with the coating robot
It is run from the APP with automatic navigation and path planning; at Cavalli Tower and DAMAC Bay in Dubai it works in alternating cycles with the indoor coating robot in confined spaces, and at Aurelle in Singapore more than 3,000 m² on two floors was finished together.

Putty Grinding Robot: Technical Analysis
The dustiest step of painting
Putty sanding is the dustiest, most tiring and least consistent step of interior finishing: the worker sands by hand on a scaffold, pressure and passes vary by person and dust spreads through the room. The Putty Grinding Robot does the job with intelligent constant force: the sanding head applies the same pressure to wall and ceiling at every point, and parameterised process settings keep thickness and smoothness constant from room to room. Vacuuming and dust collection run into a 100 L box and putty residue is discharged automatically; automatic navigation and path planning start and finish the job while the operator monitors from the APP.
A three-robot crew with the coating robots
The Putty Grinding Robot works between the NP320 Pro, which applies putty and latex, and the NP320, which sprays emulsion: putty is applied, sanded, then primer and topcoat are sprayed. At Sheung Shui the putty application, putty sanding and indoor spraying robots with an automatic material feeding system finished 10 floors in just over a month; 2 operators with 3 robots completed one floor per day. At Cavalli Tower in Dubai a seamless alternating cycle with the indoor coating robot was set up in confined spaces.
Figures from the field
- Aurelle, Singapore (Sim Lian, 14 blocks of 14 storeys): one putty grinding and one indoor coating robot completed putty sanding and primer and topcoat latex spraying on two floors over more than 3,000 m²; the dust collection design lowered dust and noise and removed the risk of working at height.
- DAMAC Bay, Dubai: putty grinding, indoor coating and floor grinding robots in operation at the same time; overall output of 50 m² per hour, more than 1.5 times manual, with long continuous operation.
- Cavalli Tower, Dubai Marina (DAMAC, 70 floors): seamless alternating cycles with the indoor coating robot in compact confined spaces, stable performance.
- The Senique, Hanoi (three 37-storey towers): working hours per floor down 56 percent, about 16,000 RMB of labour saved per floor, all 72 units passed first acceptance.
- Sheung Shui public housing, Hong Kong (November 2024): the putty sanding robot's finish met Hong Kong's highest private residential standard; the coating of 10 floors in just over a month, 2 operators and 3 robots completing one floor per day.
- QXY Staff Apartment, Singapore (16 August 2024): 69-75 m² of putty-coated wall sanded in 33 minutes at 80 percent coverage; 100-110 m² per hour.
Applications
- Interior wall and ceiling sanding in ordinary residences, villas and commercial housing.
- Fine decoration of apartments and office buildings.
- Industrial decoration and large-scale indoor renovation projects.
- Putty surface preparation before painting.
