Overview
The iLoabot-Ultra is the autonomous bulk unloading robot in the iLoabot family of Shanghai-based Senad that moves unloading from carton scale to row scale. An arm-based unloading robot takes cartons one by one and the time per vehicle is set by the number of cycles; the iLoabot-Ultra's wide multi-cup vacuum head holds one row of the stack together and places it on the integrated conveyor, and the cartons flow on to the sorting or palletising line behind. The machine vision system, the machine-learning decision mechanism and the highly integrated control system are combined in one architecture and automate the entire unloading process: the robot perceives and analyses the working environment and the target load in real time, plans its own path, recognises the carton and performs precise pick and place. Work data accumulates with every unloading; with this data decision logic and motion trajectories improve by themselves, and unloading efficiency and accuracy rise with the number of jobs. Loads of different shapes, weights and materials are processed with the same system. It is compatible with standard compartments, truck bodies and containers; it is deployed quickly without changes to the dock or the vehicle and cooperates with conveyors, belt conveyors and other warehouse equipment, so heavy repetitive work passes to the robot. It is designed for distribution centres with high-volume, low-variety carton flows and for inbound logistics at production plants; where mixed carton sizes, 80 kg heavy cartons or loading are needed, the same family's iLoabot-M and iLoabot-Pro are assessed. It is supplied to Turkey with enterprise supply, commissioning and engineering support; investment is set by corporate quotation against configuration, conveyor integration and quantity.
Takes a row together
The wide multi-cup vacuum head holds one row of the stack together and places it on the integrated conveyor; the cartons flow on to the sorting or palletising line behind. In high-volume carton flows the time per vehicle shortens.

Sees, plans, places
Machine vision perceives the working environment and the target load in real time; the robot plans its own path, recognises the carton and performs precise pick and place. The entire unloading process is automatic.
Learns with use
The machine-learning decision mechanism accumulates work data with every unloading; decision logic and motion trajectories improve by themselves, and adaptation to loads of different shapes, weights and materials grows.
Asks for no site changes
It is compatible with standard compartments, truck bodies and containers and cooperates with conveyors, belt conveyors and other warehouse equipment. Heavy repetitive work passes to the robot, and the division of labour between people and robot shifts to the steps after unloading.
iLoabot-Ultra: Technical Analysis
A row of cartons instead of one
An arm-based unloading robot takes cartons one by one; the time per vehicle is set by the number of cycles. The iLoabot-Ultra builds the same job at row scale: a wide multi-cup vacuum head holds one row of the stack together and places it on the integrated conveyor; the cartons flow on to the sorting or palletising line behind. Unloading is fully automatic: the robot perceives and analyses the working environment and the target load in real time, plans its own path, recognises the carton and performs precise pick and place. In homogeneous or low-variety, high-volume carton flows the bulk pick shortens the time per vehicle.
Control that learns with use
The machine vision system, the machine-learning decision mechanism and the highly integrated control system are combined in one architecture. The robot accumulates work data with every unloading; with this data it improves its own decision logic and motion trajectories, and unloading efficiency and accuracy rise with the number of jobs. Loads of different shapes, weights and materials are processed with the same system; unloading adapts to the varying carton types arriving from the same vehicle.
No site modification, line integration included
It is compatible with standard compartments, truck bodies and containers and is commissioned without asking for changes to the dock or the vehicle. It cooperates with conveyors, belt conveyors and other warehouse equipment: unloaded cartons enter the line directly, heavy repetitive work passes to the robot and the division of labour between people and robot shifts to the steps after unloading. It comes from the same product family as Senad's iLoabot-M and iLoabot-Pro unloading robots and the iLoabot-P cage and pallet robot; at the site survey, single-arm or bulk unloading is chosen according to the profile of the carton flow.
Applications
- High-volume single-product shipments: cartons of the same size unloaded from the container row by row.
- Distribution-centre docks: unloading in standard compartments, truck bodies and containers without site modification.
- Inbound logistics at production plants: raw-material and packaging cartons taken from the vehicle onto the conveyor.
- Mixed carton flows: a learning decision mechanism on loads of different shapes, weights and materials.
- Conveyor-line integration: end-to-end flow from unloading to sorting and palletising.
Price and sourcing
The iLoabot-Ultra is sourced for Turkey on a project basis: carton sizes and weights, stacking pattern, vehicle and container types, daily vehicle movements and the conveyor link are worked out at the survey. Investment is set by corporate quotation against configuration, conveyor integration, commissioning scope and quantity; import, customs clearance, commissioning, operator training and after-sales support are part of delivery.
