Which Edition for Which Job
The Basic edition, with 25 degrees of freedom and an Intel depth camera, is enough for shows and promotional work; it has no secondary development support, so it is not the right choice if you plan to run your own software. The Open Source edition offers the same hardware with secondary development support, the entry point for university and R&D teams. Pro adds dexterous hands (7 degrees of freedom each, 5 kg payload, tactile sensing), the proprietary stereo vision and LiDAR system and an AGX Orin 64 GB; manipulation and autonomous task trials start with this edition. Max raises the body to 32 degrees of freedom with a reinforced chest and back design, for projects that want the widest motion envelope. Martial arts demonstrations, grasping and logistics handling all make sense on the Pro and Max editions.
Humanoid Alternatives Deliverable Today
If you need a full-size humanoid today, the Unitree H2 (182 cm, 70 kg, 31 degrees of freedom) and the compact Unitree G1 (132 cm, 35 kg) can be ordered in Turkey, with 4-6 week delivery, a 1-year official warranty, on-site commissioning and engineering support across Turkey. The T800's 450 Nm of joint torque and 4-5 hours of runtime are high for its class; on the other hand the H2 is deliverable today with a service chain in place.
