Overview

EngineAI is a Shenzhen-based Chinese company developing legged robots and its own joint actuators. The T800 is its full-size high-dynamic general-purpose robot: 173 cm tall, 75-85 kg by edition, 450 Nm peak joint torque, speed of 3 m/s or more, and 4-5 hours of runtime with active cooling in the leg joints.

There are four editions. Basic and Open Source carry 25 degrees of freedom; Pro reaches 43 with 29 body plus 14 hand DoF, Max 46 with 32 plus 14. The Pro and Max dexterous hands offer 7 DoF per hand, a 5 kg payload and tactile sensing. Compute is an Intel robot PC (optional RK3588) with a Jetson Orin NX 16 GB (Basic) or an AGX Orin 64 GB; perception is an Intel depth camera on Basic and stereo vision plus 360-degree LiDAR on the others.
