Fourier GRW Price and Purchasing: How to Source It

The Fourier GRW is a dual-arm handling robot that places a humanoid upper body on a wheeled base: an adjustable height of 1160 to 1650 mm, a body of approximately 160 kg, 29 degrees of freedom excluding end-effectors, a 16 kg dual-arm payload and ±0.1 mm repeatability. It was designed for rehabilitation, eldercare, warehousing and logistics, and light manufacturing scenarios.

Who It Is For: Work That Requires Physical Load

The GRW is the body in Fourier's lineup that carries the workload. Sixteen kilograms with both arms, a 2000 mm working height and ±0.1 mm repeatability bring warehouse picking, box handling, patient transfer and material handling onto the same machine. Two joints in the foldable lower body vary height between 1160 and 1650 mm: the same robot can target a box on the floor and a case on an upper shelf. Two 720 Wh batteries give four hours of runtime and refresh through autonomous hot swapping without shutting the robot down, which directly reduces the robot count needed in a three-shift facility. The limits are equally clear: 160 kg requires adequate floor loading and a 10-degree gradeability limit rules out buildings with stairs.

The GR-3 for Work That Needs Interaction

If the work requires relating to people, the same manufacturer's bipedal GR-3 is a different body: 165 cm, 71 kg, 55 degrees of freedom, 31 pressure sensors across the body, a four-microphone array and facial recognition.
