Pollen Robotics Microduck Price and Sourcing: How to Source the Desktop RL Robot

Microduck is a 25 cm biped developed by Pollen Robotics, the robotics team at Hugging Face, for teaching reinforcement learning and simulation-to-real transfer. Sourcing is planned per project; we settle robot quantity, pack selection, import and delivery terms together.

How Much Does the Pollen Robotics Microduck Cost?

The manufacturer publishes an introductory pre-order price before taxes and shipping on its own page; that price applies to direct sales in launch countries. Robotlar.org prices sourcing per project: robot quantity, colour mix, charger, dev and accessory packs, import and delivery terms are settled together in a corporate quotation. Since a battery lasts around one hour depending on use, we recommend pricing charger packs alongside the robots for class and lab sets.

Is It for Sale in Turkey?

At launch the manufacturer sells to the US, Canada, the European Union, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Japan and South Korea, with more countries to follow. Pre-orders opened on 27 August 2026 and first deliveries are targeted before Christmas 2026. We assess Microduck requirements of universities, schools and R&D teams in Turkey through enterprise sourcing; the sourcing route, delivery schedule and documentation are planned per project. Who It Is For: Universities, Schools, R&D

Microduck was designed for teams that want to teach reinforcement learning and simulation-to-real transfer on real hardware. Policies are trained with mjlab (MuJoCo based) and PPO, exported to ONNX and deployed to the robot; local training needs a CUDA GPU, and Hugging Face Jobs is used without one. The small body makes falling cheap and self-recovery keeps the experiment pace. The open-source scope is the software; the mechanical and electronic design files are not open.

Alternatives
