Pudu Robot Installation Guide — Robotlar.org Professional Setup Process

Professional installation is crucial for your Pudu robot to operate smoothly. Robotlar.org manages the entire installation process turnkey from delivery to commissioning.

Pre-Installation Preparation

Before installation, WiFi coverage is checked, elevator integration infrastructure is inspected and physical obstacles are identified. Robotlar.org's technical team conducts a site survey 1 week before installation.

SLAM Mapping

The robot creates a 3D map using LiDAR and RGBD cameras during its first tour of the venue. Cleaning zones, delivery points, restricted areas and charging station location are marked on this map. Mapping typically takes 1-2 hours.

Route Planning & Programming

Robot routes are determined on the map. Cleaning frequency and intensity for cleaning robots, delivery points and call system integration for delivery robots. Elevator integration is set up for multi-floor operations.

Staff Training

Personnel are trained on robot operation, emergency procedures, basic maintenance and remote monitoring panel use. Training takes approximately 2 hours. Robotlar.org provides operational support for 30 days after installation.

Commissioning & Testing

After all installation is complete, the robot is tested in the real environment. Route validation, obstacle detection test, charging station return test and elevator integration test are performed. The robot is officially commissioned after confirming smooth operation.
