PUDU GT5

Commercial Robotic Mower

PUDU GT5 is a commercial autonomous mower built for large turf areas. Its 60-inch (1.52 m) rotary cutting deck targets 8,000 m² per hour, vacuuming and collecting grass clippings, fallen leaves and light turf debris in the same pass. A 26 kWh battery runs up to 10 hours and covers 65,000 m² per charge; when the hopper fills it transits to empty itself and returns precisely to the breakpoint.

Overview

PUDU GT5 is Pudu Robotics' commercial autonomous mower for large turf areas. With a 1910 × 1586 × 1293 mm body and a weight of 850 kg including batteries, it sits between the GT3 and the GT7.

On cutting it applies the GT3's logic at a larger scale: a 60-inch (1.52 m) rotary cutting deck targets 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour while vacuuming grass clippings, fallen leaves and light turf debris into its hopper in the same pass. No second collection run or follow-up cleanup crew is needed. Height of cut adjusts from 38 to 152 mm (1.5-6 in) and maximum mowing speed is 10 km/h.

Site recognition works two ways: the GT5 explores the field on its own to generate precision operational maps, and target areas can also be geofenced using online or satellite imagery. This removes manual perimeter mapping and lets cutting start on new sites immediately. Along pre-mapped internal routes it transits between different fields on its own and resumes mowing on arrival. High-precision positioning lets it mow to within 10 cm of edges, so no uncut border strip is left. When the hopper fills it transits to empty it and returns precisely to the breakpoint.

For safety, surround-view RGB, RGBD and LiDAR fuse into 360° awareness; pedestrians, vehicles and site assets such as hoses or light poles are recognized, with slow-down, bypass or stop applied by risk level. Active anti-fall protection detects dangerous drop-offs such as water shorelines, steps and steep embankments, rerouting or braking together with digital no-go zones. The chassis is all-metal and an IP66 weather-resistance rating protects internal components against rain and moisture. Maximum slope while mowing is 20°.

On energy, a 26 kWh battery delivers 8-10 hours of runtime and 65,000 m² (6.5 ha / 16 acres) of coverage per full charge. Standard charging takes 10 hours at 3.3 kW; optional 6 kW fast charging brings that down to 5 hours. In Turkey it is offered through Pudu Robotics Turkey Distributor robotlar.org with Turkish technical support, installation consulting and after-sales service.

One-Pass Cutting and Collection

The GT5 cuts, vacuums, and collects grass clippings, fallen leaves, and light turf debris simultaneously during large-scale rotary mowing. This continuous system leaves behind a spotless field, completely eliminating the need for secondary cleanups or follow-up crews.

One-Pass Cutting and Collection

Auto-Dump and Task Resumption

The GT5 autonomously transits to empty its hopper when full, then returns precisely to the breakpoint to continue its task. This built-in feature ensures seamless performance without requiring operator intervention.

Auto-Dump and Task Resumption

Extended Run-time

The GT5 powers through up to 10 hours of continuous operation, covering up to 16 acres on a single charge. This extended run-time ensures the GT5 satisfies large-scale workflows without mid-day charging disruptions.

Extended Run-time

60-Inch Wide-area Mowing

Equipped with a rugged 60-inch rotary cutting deck, the GT5 clocks a target efficiency of 2 acres per hour. This wide cut drastically increases acreage coverage and speeds up daily workflows.

60-Inch Wide-area Mowing

Autonomous Cross-Zone Transit

The GT5 moves seamlessly between different pitches or turf zones along pre-mapped internal routes. Eliminating the need for manual handling, the GT5 automatically transits and resumes mowing upon arrival to effortlessly cover multiple fields.

Autonomous Cross-Zone Transit

Auto Mapping and Rapid Deployment

The GT5 autonomously explores the field to generate precision operational maps. Combined with online or satellite imagery to geofence target areas, it eliminates manual perimeter mapping to start cutting on new sites instantly.

Auto Mapping and Rapid Deployment

Precision Tracking and Edge Trim

High-precision positioning keeps the GT5 on a stable path to mow within 10 cm of edges. This minimizes uncut borders and guarantees a completely uniform finish across the field.

Precision Tracking and Edge Trim

360° Omnidirectional Awareness

By fusing surround-view RGB, RGBD, and LiDAR, the GT5 maintains continuous spatial awareness of its surrounding environment. This comprehensive perception guarantees absolute operational safety across open facilities.

360° Omnidirectional Awareness

Adaptive Obstacle Avoidance

The GT5 instantly recognizes pedestrians, vehicles, and assets like hoses or light poles. Based on risk levels, it automatically slows down, bypasses, or stops to eliminate collision risks on public turf.

Adaptive Obstacle Avoidance

Active Anti-Fall Protection

Instantly detects dangerous drop-offs including water shorelines, steps, and steep embankments. Combined with digital no-go zones, the system reroutes or brakes to eliminate runoff and rollover risks.

Active Anti-Fall Protection

All-Metal Chassis and IP66 Protection

Built with an all-metal chassis, the GT5 withstands heavy daily commercial wear. A separate IP66 weather-resistance rating ensures the internal components remain completely protected against rain and moisture.

GT5 Frequently Asked Questions

The most commonly asked questions and answers about GT5.

All three are autonomous mowers, but they differ in scale and cutting method. The GT3 mows with rotary blades and collects in the same pass: 914.4 mm width of cut, 450 kg, 13 kWh, 20,000 m² per charge. The GT5 applies the same rotary-plus-collection logic at a larger scale: a 1.52 m (60 in) deck, 850 kg, 26 kWh, 65,000 m² per charge. The GT7 uses a triplex reel unit; it can collect too, but its real difference is the uniform cut and striping professional sports fields require: 1600 mm width of cut, 950 kg, 26 kWh, 70,000 m² per charge. In short: GT5 for fast wide-area mowing with collection, GT7 for stadium-grade cut and pattern, GT3 for smaller sites.

The 26 kWh battery delivers 8-10 hours of runtime and 65,000 m² (6.5 ha / 16 acres) of coverage per full charge. The mowing rate is 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour. Standard charging takes 10 hours at 3.3 kW; the optional 6 kW fast charger brings that down to 5 hours.

Yes, in the same pass. During large-scale rotary mowing the GT5 simultaneously vacuums grass clippings, fallen leaves and light turf debris into its hopper, leaving a spotless field behind. When the hopper fills it transits to empty it on its own, then returns precisely to the breakpoint and continues. No operator intervention is required.
