Three models, three scales
The GT3 is the entry model: 914.4 mm (36 in) width of cut, 450 kg, a 13 kWh battery and 20,000 m² (2 ha) per charge. The GT5 scales that up: a 1.52 m (60 in) rotary cutting deck, 850 kg, 26 kWh and 65,000 m² (6.5 ha) per charge. The GT7 is the largest: 1600 mm (62 in) width of cut, 950 kg, 26 kWh and 70,000 m² (7 ha) per charge.
Maximum mowing speed is 10 km/h on all three. Height of cut adjusts from 38 to 114 mm on the GT3, 38 to 152 mm on the GT5 and 5 to 50 mm on the GT7.
The common thread: cutting and collection in one pass
What sets the series apart is that it does not separate cutting from collection. While mowing with rotary blades, the GT3 and GT5 simultaneously vacuum grass clippings, fallen leaves and light turf debris into the hopper, leaving a field that needs no second collection run. On the GT7 this is a mode: plain mowing or active collection with a dual-fan vacuum, depending on turf conditions.
On all three, a full hopper sends the robot to the dumping point on its own; it empties and returns precisely to the breakpoint to continue. No operator intervention is needed.
Where the GT7 diverges: reel cutting and striping
The GT3 and GT5 use rotary blades; the GT7 uses a triplex reel unit. Reel cutting delivers the uniform quality professional football and golf grounds require. Its three cutting units float independently, and articulated suspension tracks ground contours so the height of cut stays constant even on undulating turf.
For the pattern, two things work together: ±2.5 cm positioning accuracy from RTK, LiDAR and vision fusion, and automated path planning driven by cutting angle, directional rotation and lane offset settings. The result is the automated equivalent of striping done by hand.
Autonomy and safety
Site recognition differs by model. The GT3 generates a map after a single autonomous lap and detects the border between turf and paved surfaces. The GT5 explores the field on its own to produce precision operational maps, and target areas can also be geofenced from online or satellite imagery. All three transit between different fields along pre-mapped routes and resume mowing on arrival, so one machine can serve several sites.
On safety, pedestrians, vehicles and site assets such as hoses or light poles are recognized, with slow-down, bypass or stop applied by risk level. The GT5 additionally detects drop-offs such as water shorelines, steps and steep embankments. The GT3 and GT5 bodies carry IP66 protection.
Which field, which model
In short: the GT3 for parks, campuses and mid-sized green areas; the GT5 where wide areas need fast mowing with collection; the GT7 where stadium and professional sports turf demand cut quality and striping.
