What determines the price
Four items dominate a quote. First, width of cut and machine class: 914.4 mm and 450 kg on the GT3, 1.52 m and 850 kg on the GT5, 1600 mm and 950 kg on the GT7. Wider cuts mean fewer passes per site, so what is bought is machine capacity rather than labour.
Second, cutting method: the GT3 and GT5 use rotary blades; the GT7 uses a triplex reel unit. A reel unit is mechanically more complex and is what professional turf quality requires, which shows in the budget.
Third, positioning class: on the GT7, RTK, LiDAR and vision fusion give ±2.5 cm accuracy. That accuracy serves not only navigation but lane offset and striping. The GT3 and GT5 build the site map from an autonomous lap or satellite imagery.
Fourth, scope: charger choice (standard 3.3 kW or optional 6 kW fast charging), installation, site mapping, training, fleet count and after-sales support. Unit cost falls on multi-machine deployments.
What each model covers
Tying the budget to site size is the soundest approach. Area per full charge is 20,000 m² (2 ha) on the GT3, 65,000 m² (6.5 ha) on the GT5 and 70,000 m² (7 ha) on the GT7. Mowing rate is 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour on the GT5 and GT7.
In practice: the GT3 for green areas up to 2 hectares, the GT5 for parks and campuses of 6-7 hectares, the GT7 for professional sports turf. For a detailed comparison see GT3 vs GT5 vs GT7.
Why consumer mowers are not comparable
Robotic mowers sold for home gardens cover 500-2,000 m², run on a boundary wire or a simple perimeter map, and drop clippings back onto the soil (mulching). The commercial class differs in three places: collection (the GT3 and GT5 vacuum clippings, leaves and light debris into a hopper in the same pass, and when it fills the robot empties itself and resumes from the breakpoint), site scale (hectare-level coverage, autonomous transit between fields), and fleet management (live location, task progress and system health tracked remotely, with instant error notifications).
That is why a commercial machine is judged by work closed per shift rather than cost per square metre.
How to get a quote
Share site size and type (sports field, park, campus, residential), whether collection is needed, slope conditions and quantity in the quote form. Price, delivery time and support scope are confirmed in writing; customs, VAT, installation and a 1-year warranty are settled in the quote.
