Overview
PUDU GT7 is Pudu Robotics' commercial-grade autonomous reel mower for sports fields. With a 1950 × 1600 × 1400 mm body and a weight of 950 kg including batteries, it is built for professional surfaces such as stadiums, football pitches, golf grounds and large campus lawns.
What separates it from the GT3 is the cutting method: the GT7 uses a triplex reel unit rather than rotary blades. Reel cutting delivers the clean, uniform quality professional pitches require. Width of cut is 1600 mm (62 in), height of cut adjusts from 5 to 50 mm, and reels are available with 8 or 11 blades. The three cutting units float independently; articulated suspension tracks ground contours so the height of cut stays consistent even on undulating turf. Cutting height is changed in minutes with a toolless adjustment knob.
Positioning rests on RTK, LiDAR and vision fusion, accurate to ±2.5 cm. That accuracy serves the pattern as much as the navigation: because cutting angle, directional rotation and lane offset are configurable, the GT7 produces professional-grade striping automatically. Along pre-mapped internal routes it transits between different pitches on its own and resumes mowing on arrival, so one unit can serve several fields.
The machine is dual-mode: plain mowing or active collection, depending on turf conditions. In collection mode a dual-fan vacuum system pulls clippings, leaves and light debris into a large hopper; a full bin is detected and the task resumes automatically from where it stopped. With the suction motor off in non-collection mode the machine runs near-silently, making it possible to mow early mornings and evenings while the facility is open.
For safety, surround-view RGB, RGBD, ultrasonic sensors and LiDAR together give 360° awareness; AI vision algorithms recognize turf boundaries, pedestrians and vehicles and execute stop, wait or bypass protocols. A 4WD traction system with 30° climbing capability prevents tire slippage on steep slopes.
On energy, a 26 kWh battery delivers 8-10 hours of runtime and 70,000 m² (7 ha / 17 acres) of coverage per full charge, at a mowing rate of 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour. Standard charging takes 10 hours at 3.3 kW; optional 6 kW fast charging brings that down to 5 hours. Live location, task progress and system health are tracked through remote fleet management. In Turkey it is offered through Pudu Robotics Turkey Distributor robotlar.org with Turkish technical support, installation consulting and after-sales service.

GT7 Frequently Asked Questions
The most commonly asked questions and answers about GT7.
The core difference is the cutting method. The GT3 and GT5 mow with rotary blades and vacuum the clippings in the same pass: the GT3 with a 914.4 mm width of cut and 20,000 m² per charge, the GT5 with a 1.52 m (60 in) deck, 850 kg and 65,000 m² per charge. The GT7 uses a triplex reel unit: 1600 mm width of cut, 5-50 mm height of cut and 8 or 11 blades per reel. Reel cutting produces the uniform quality and striping professional sports fields require. The GT7 is the largest of the three: 950 kg, a 26 kWh battery and 70,000 m² per charge. Choose the GT5 for fast wide-area mowing with collection, the GT7 for stadium-grade cut and pattern.
The 26 kWh battery delivers 8-10 hours of runtime and 70,000 m² (7 ha / 17 acres) of coverage per full charge, measured in non-collection mode. The mowing rate is 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour. Standard charging takes 10 hours at 3.3 kW; the optional 6 kW fast charger brings that down to 5 hours.
Two things work together. First, positioning: RTK, LiDAR and vision fusion give ±2.5 cm accuracy, so lanes do not drift from pass to pass. Second, path planning: cutting angle, directional rotation and lane offset are configurable, and the GT7 builds the route automatically from those settings. The result is a clean pattern meeting professional sports field standards.
Optionally. The GT7 is dual-mode: plain mowing or active collection, depending on turf conditions. In collection mode a dual-fan vacuum system pulls clippings, fallen leaves and light debris into a large hopper, leaving a spotless field in a single pass. A full bin is detected and the task resumes automatically after emptying.
Yes. A 4WD traction system with 30° climbing capability prevents tire slippage on steep slopes and rolling terrain. On cut quality, the three cutting units float independently; articulated suspension tracks ground contours closely, holding the height of cut consistent even on highly undulating turf.
Yes. The all-electric chassis runs quietly, and with the suction motor disabled in non-collection mode the machine becomes near-silent, allowing mowing during early mornings, evenings and active facility hours without disruption. For safety, surround-view RGB, RGBD, ultrasonic sensors and LiDAR together give 360° awareness; AI vision algorithms recognize turf boundaries, pedestrians and vehicles and apply stop, wait or bypass behaviour.
Yes, that is exactly what the GT7 is built for. Following pre-mapped internal routes it transits between different pitches or turf zones on its own and resumes mowing on arrival, with no manual relocation. Remote fleet management tracks live location, task progress and system health from anywhere, with instant error notifications.
