A2-W is the wheeled-legged version of the A2: 190 mm wheels at the leg tips let it drive on flat ground for ~35 km of range, then switch to legged walking for obstacles and stairs. Static payload of 100 kg and 180 N·m joint torque are unchanged, while weight is ~52 kg with battery.
A2-W uses a dual-slot, hot-swappable battery system. Two 9,000 mAh (453.6 Wh) batteries provide 18,000 mAh (907.2 Wh) total; because they can be swapped one at a time, the mission continues without powering the robot down. Runtime is >3.5 hours unloaded and >1.5 hours with a 25 kg load.
The standard A2-W ships with a single LiDAR + HD camera and IP56 protection, with GPS, 4G and the wireless follow module as options. The PRO adds dual LiDAR for bidirectional (front and rear) perception, IP67-rated core components, expanded GPS/4G/follow module and an optional high-compute dock.
It suits large-area industrial inspection, in-plant and campus logistics, security patrol and search-and-rescue duty. Wheeled driving on flat ground covers markedly more distance per charge than legged walking, while 45° slope and 30 cm step capability keep it working on sites with stairs.
