Unitree R1-D

The Unitree R1-D is a dual-arm humanoid robot platform launched by Unitree Robotics in April 2026. Starting at $4,290, the R1-D is configurable with 5-DOF (R1-A5) or 7-DOF (R1-A7) robotic arms and offers 15-31 total degrees of freedom. Weighing approximately 11-13 kg (fixed base) or 30-32 kg (mobile wheeled base), the platform is certified for industrial precision assembly tasks with ±0.1mm end-effector accuracy. It features an 8-core high-performance CPU in the body and an 8-core CPU + 10 TOPS AI processor in the head module. Optional NVIDIA Jetson Orin module provides up to 40-100 TOPS AI performance.
