Single vs Double: The Main Price Driver
Per the manufacturer's official product page, Single is one D1 platform and Double is two units. The specifications list the undocked state at 24.3 kg and 2 m/s (bipedal) and the docked state at 48.5 kg and 3.2 m/s (quadruped). Double suits projects that need parallel testing or docked quadruped operation; Single suits research and education projects starting with one platform. The quote follows this choice.
