Pudu T300 vs T600: What You Give Up Moving Up a Load Class

Both models are industrial transport robots built for production lines and warehouse flows. The T300 carries 300 kg, the T600 carries 600 kg. But doubling capacity is not free: the body grows from 835 mm to 960 mm and the robot's own weight rises from 65 kg to 112 kg. Those two numbers feed straight into aisle planning and floor loading on site. Once you have settled your capacity requirement, the real question is whether your facility can absorb that growth.

The T300 passes through a minimum of 60 cm, while the T600 needs 70 cm. Ten centimetres looks small on paper, but in an existing facility the route is decided precisely by its narrowest point. Rack spacing, the gap between machinery and wall, fire door openings and places where pallet stacks overhang all have to be measured individually. If there is a single point on your route between 60 and 70 cm, the T600 cannot pass it, and either the rack layout changes or the model gets smaller.

Counter-intuitive but important: the heavier model is more sensitive to the floor. The T300 clears a 20 mm step while the T600 is limited to 10 mm. Maximum crossable gap is 35 mm on both. In practice that means raised door thresholds, drainage channel grates, the level difference between a lift and the floor, and epoxy transitions all need checking individually for the T600. The T series is designed for indoor use on flat floors to begin with, and that constraint is tighter on the T600. The first thing to measure during a survey is the highest threshold on the route.

Where the T600 separates itself in the records is the control platform: it is VDA5050 compliant. VDA5050 is the industry standard that lets autonomous vehicles from different manufacturers speak to a single fleet management system. For a facility already running a fleet manager, or planning to bring vehicles from several brands under one roof later, that is a hard heading to make up for afterwards. The T600 also carries rack-group recognition and dynamic obstacle detection. On the T300 side, navigation runs on VSLAM and LiDAR SLAM alongside depth cameras, collision protection sensors and emergency stop buttons.

If your peak load is under 300 kg and your aisles have bottlenecks in the 60 to 70 cm band, choose the T300. If the peak passes 300 kg, your aisles are above 70 cm and your floor has no threshold over 10 mm, choose the T600.
