What Was Unveiled
The H2-X is a bipedal humanoid robot built for service and guard duties. Three points stand out in the introduction:
- Real footage: every scene in the video was filmed without any speed-up.
- A 4-meter platform: the robot descends from the platform and keeps moving after the landing.
- Long endurance: the H2-X can stand for approximately 8 hours.
What the Video Shows
Most of the footage takes place in a yard lined with scrapped cars. The H2-X runs between the cars, leaps onto one of them, throws a series of kicks and keeps its balance after taking an impact. Movement through clouds of dust, spinning kicks and a routine performed amid showers of sparks round out the night scenes; in the daylight scene the robot moves across open terrain.
The second half of the video includes a security demonstration and a rescue scenario.
